About The WWIPATM
The WorldWide Independent Press AssociationTM is an association of Independent Writers, Photographers, Videographers, Journalists, Webmasters and virtually anyone who is not an employee of a traditional media company (i.e. newspaper, magazine, Radio or TV Network, etc.) but in their profession still need press credentials in order to gain access to events of newsworthy value.
How WWIPATM Can Benefit You
Event hosts want and need all the press coverage they can get. They should be anxious to grant you access but they want to know that you are a valid member of the press. Your membership in WWIPATM can give you the credentials you need to to gain access to all of your local events so you can do your job.
With the proper press credentials you can get into all types of events and places that the average person can't. Places such as filming locations, movie lots, conventions, ball games (both local or national teams), concerts, and other such events. With your credentials from the WWIPATM you can get into all these events and more for FREE.
What You Receive
By becoming a member of the WWIPATM you will receive a complete WWIPATM Press Kit containing the following:

A laminated Press ID Card with your photo on it for carrying in your wallet or purse.

A second laminated and notched Press ID Card with your photo on it.

A lanyard for hanging the notched Press ID Card around your neck when at a media event.
- A PRESS placard for displaying in your car window or hanging from the mirror.

A Certificate showing you are a member of WWIPATM suitable for framing and hanging on your office wall.

Website validation of your credentials. This gives an event host the ability to verify, by accessing our website, the validity of your credentials thereby assuring them you are a member in good standing. As long as you are an active member your name and membership number will be displayed here for that purpose.

If your media event host requires verification of your credentials in writing we will mail that verification, on our letterhead, to the person you specify. Just complete your request right here on our website.

Access to the Members Area where you will find a number of aids to help you do your job better.

How Much Does It Cost?
Membership in the WorldWide Independent Press AssociationTM is $69.99USD per year for residents of the United States.
Non-United States residents membership is $79.99USD. The extra $10.00USD is to help with the additional handling involved when shipping packages outside of the USA.
